Welcome to the Spillman Public Library

Library Open with safety precautions starting Monday, March 1st!

What safety measures are we taking with patrons who set up appointments to enter the library?

  • Masks are required (curbside services available for those who do not wish to wear a mask).
  • Hand sanitizer use; Maintain proper social distance.
  • Children able to enter when accompanied by an adult.

What is our definition of "curbside pick-up" of library materials?  What are some of the safety guidelines that pertain to patrons?

“Curbside pick-up” is our library allowing patrons to pick-up library materials outside of our library building during pre-arranged times.  We plan to offer scheduled appointments for pick-ups Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m.-12:45 p.m., and Thursdays from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Food for Fines FEBRUARY

Turn overdue fines into food for the hungry February 1-27, 2021.

Donate canned or boxed foods to pay off your library fines Monday, February 1 through Saturday, February 27, 2021 during Spillman Public Library's Food for Fines February drive.

The library will deduct $1 from your overdue fines for every unopened, unexpired nonperishable food item donated. (For example: Three canned items equals $3 in waived overdue fees, smaller items may require multiples).

All food items donated will go to the Fondy Food Pantry for local use.

Don’t have any fines? You're still welcome to donate. Pay It Forward donations can be used to help other patrons who are struggling to pay their fines.

Donations will waive library fines only, not fees for lost or damaged items.  There is a $20 maximum forgiveness of fines.

The library cannot accept rusty, dented or unlabeled cans, homemade items, non-commercial canned or packaged items, alcoholic beverages, drink mixes or soda, or opened/used or expired items.  Click here to see a list of needed items

Thank you for your support!
